The cuisine on board is French. A selection of regional cheeses and French wines are featured with lunch and evening meals. The dishes are prepared using fresh ingredients and the evening meal is typically a four course menu.

Nymphea Cuisine

Access from Paris is easy, with the TGV train leaving on Sunday afternoons at 14.46 from Gare Montparnasse and arriving at St.Pierre de Corps station, 55 minutes later, where you will be met by the ships minibus for a 25 minute transfer.

If travelling direct from Charles de Gaulle International Airport, the TGV leaves at 14.09, and arrives at St.Pierre des Corps at 15.59.

Upon departure,we have an early train to Paris for those who would like a complete day in the capital leaving from St.Pierre at 08.17. After a leisurely breakfast, the next direct Paris train leaves at 10.14, arriving at 11.13.
The direct train to Charles de Gaulle leaves at 10.01, arriving at 11.45.

There are good connections from Tours to Bordeaux and Avignon for those travelling to the South.

Yes, for individual bookings a deposit of €700 per passenger per week is payable at the time of booking.

For charter bookings of the entire vessel an initial deposit of
25 % of the total fare is payable at the time of booking.

We accept Credit Cards (Mastercard and Visa), online on a Secure Server. Payment can also be made by cheque or bank transfer.

Nymphea is 81ft long by 14ft wide and accommodates six passengers. There are three cabins, a saloon/dining area, an additional upper saloon and a sun deck all with comfortable seating.

Yes, the barge is has a 220 v electrical supply, there are French 2 pin plugs throughout. You may need to bring a converter for the plug or transformer for the power supply.
